One Jacksonville buyer missed something big on the house they were buying: the roof. Shane Jorgenson didn't. He made it possible for a new roof to be installed before closing, and the buyers only found out when he told them. They were "so happy with him when he told us the house would have a new roof," they wrote. That's Shane. He watches the whole deal, including the parts his clients haven't thought to ask about yet.

Sellers hire Shane for his read on the market and his advice on when and how to list. One seller credited his knowledge for "directing us how we should stage the house and pick the best buyer to purchase our home." Another explained that Shane walked through the state of the market and why his strategy was the right one, and they listed at the right price and drew serious buyers. That seller was traveling and working full-time through the sale and "hardly needed to lift a finger." Shane and his team kept them updated the whole way.
Buying a home that isn't built yet means months of waiting and a lot of moving parts. Shane represented one couple through a new construction purchase in the St. Johns area. "He sent us consistent updates on the construction," they wrote, and he kept communication open with them, the builder and the builder's vendors from start to finish. "You're definitely in good hands with Shane," they added.
Some of Shane's buyers aren't in Jacksonville when they start looking. One couple buying remotely said he "helped to oversee every single detail," and he found them a pocket listing in the area they wanted. Another buyer said he was "willing to look at a house for me if I wasn't able to make it myself" and never missed a call or a text, whatever the time of day. Buyers also mention his negotiating. "He is an excellent negotiator with a very personalized touch," one couple wrote. Another client said what impressed them most was "his knowledge of the Jacksonville FL market and processes and procedures."
Shane learned to fly as a kid. His father traded him a flight lesson for every six books he read, and he flew from age 7 to 15. He went on to earn a degree in aeronautics, with a minor in business administration, from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He was flying for a Delta subsidiary at 21 and joined JetBlue at 26. He credits his father with teaching him that persistence and consistency bring success. Shane first earned his real estate license in the Dallas-Fort Worth area in 2007 and moved to Jacksonville in 2012. Away from work, he's usually out on the boat with his wife and their pets.
